Cloud Computing

As was the case for electricity, which at the beginning of the twentieth century has seen companies gradually shift from production to consumption autonomous users through the public distribution network, now also processing services can be enjoyed through the Internet. The term Cloud (cloud) indicates that the individual computers become a large and ever-changing entity, such as power stations producing the energy used by each company.

Windows Azure is Microsoft's most modern and secure platform for the delivery of services on the Internet.In addition to a high level of service service level agreement (SLA) and the ability to handle a virtually unlimited number of users, provides protection of data in the event of catastrophic events. SQL Azure, one of the components of Cloud Computing at Microsoft, is in fact a high-availability database (High Availability) and resistant to faults (Fault Tolerant) through automatic replication across multiple servers.
